You don't know the person and what they say when they contact a sister or how they really are. To me a freak is someone who contacts someone 20+ years younger than them or someone who is married and looking for a second wife without telling the first! I'm sure it's all valid, but I don't want to marry them and I don't know any other sister really who would. I don't want to start a matrimonial site like what's out there like classifieds etc. I'm thinking of something different, more like a marriage site and sharing of info. So we'll see inshallah. It's 100% free. As for being full of freaks, I don't know what you mean by that. I personally screen every profile that appears on Zawaj.com and I don't allow any profile that seems fake, insincere, or un-Islamic. Sometimes that means deleting as many as half the profiles. If you were to start your own matrimonial service I'm sure you would do a great job. But I have to warn you: it's a LOT of work. Constant, never-ending work. Even if you program many of the features to be automated, if you want to keep un-Islamic profiles out of the system it requires some degree of oversight. Also, you will get a lot customer service requests, so you either need an advanced help ticket system, or you'll be answering a lot of emails. Lastly, it takes money. Web programming is constantly evolving, so if you don't have the skills to redevelop the site yourself then you will have to hire someone to do it. In short, it's a major undertaking.
