Do you remember Room 25
Where love began to thrive
Like honey in a bee-hive?
That memory's kept alive
In the heart you forced open
With a smile I wouldn't see so often.
This heart, which was once a heaven,
Is now but an oven.
Like all students, you sat in front of me
I taught you English and you taught me
Things no one else could ever see:
"One may find in a river what can't be found in the sea" !
Now you're gone -- like all the other students.
But Room 25 is still full of students.
And yet no more love is there in Room 25:
Only the love in my heart is still alive !
