I've coppied the following from a different forum:
Rabbi Inni Lima Anzalta Illayya Min Khairin Faqeer
i love this dua of Musa (alyhis salam). "My Lord! Truly, I am in need of whatever good that You bestow on me!" 28:24. However, a couple of times I have heard people refer to and reccomend this as a dua for marriage. Is there some basis for this? It seems that Prophet Musa alahyis salam made this dua in general and not that he was asking Allah subhana wa ta'ala for marriage per say... am I mistaken in my understanding?
bottom line Prophet Musa got hooked up with a wife and a job by doing this dua, and since am in need of both i'll stick with it.
