|Why battle of Badr?|

It was not a mere casual meaningless fight. The believers were persecuted mercilessly for their belief in the One Almighty. They were humiliated, tortured and killed. Badr was the permission finally given as a self-defense. Badr is not the call for violence or trouble. Badr was not attacking the enemy first. The Muslims were denied the right to life. Their bread was snatched. They were boycotted. They were expelled from their homes...
