Proud To Be White

Someone finally said it.

How many are actually paying attention to this?

There are African Americans,
Mexican Americans,
Asian Americans,
Arab Americans,
Native Americans, etc.
 .....And then there are just

You pass me on the street
 and sneer in my direction.
 You Call me 'White boy,'
 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,'
 'Whitey,' 'Caveman,'
 .....And that's OK.

But when I call you Nigger,
Kike, Towel head,
Sand-nigger, Camel Jockey,
Beaner, Gook, or Chink,
 .....You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot
of violence against you,
so why are the ghettos the most
dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund.
You have Hispanic History Month.
You have Martin Luther King Day.
You have Asian History Month.
You have Black History Month.
You have Cesar Chavez Day.
You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.
You have Yom Hashoah.
You have Kawanza.
You have the NAACP.
And you have BET.

 If we had WET
 (White Entertainment Television)
 .....We'd be racists

If we had a White Pride Day
 .....You would call us racists.

If we had White History Month
 .....We'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites
 to 'advance' OUR lives,
 .....We'd be racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,
 a Black Chamber of Commerce,
and then we just have the plain
 Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave
white students scholarships
 .....You know we'd be racists..
There are over 60 openly-proclaimed
Black-only Colleges in the US ,
yet if there were 'White-only Colleges'
.....THAT would be a racist college.

 In the Million-Man March,
 you believed that you were
marching for your race and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights,
.....You would call us racists.

You are proud to be black,
brown, yellow and red,
and you're not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride
 .....You call us racists.

 You rob us,
carjack us,
and shoot at us.

But, when a white police officer
shoots a black gang member
or beats up a black drug-dealer
who is running from the LAW and
posing a threat to ALL of society
 .....You call him a racist.

I am proud
.....But, you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists?

It is ironic isn't?  And a dilemma too!

Not being 'white' is what brought about racism.

The fight against racism created all these other labels she listed below, e.g. United Negro College Fund, etc.

I don't think there are 'Just Americans' because 'white' is referred to as 'white Americans or caucasian'.  The term 'Just American' would have aptly fitted Native Americans since they were on that continent before everyone esle but then again, they were also labelled as 'Native Americans' to deny them their 'Americaness'.

United States
In the United States, Caucasian has been mainly a distinction, based on skin color, for a group commonly called White Americans, as defined by the government and Census Bureau.[15]

Between 1917 and 1965, immigration to the USA was restricted by "national origins quota". The Supreme Court in United States v. Bhagat Singh Thind (1923) decided Indians – unlike Europeans and Middle Easterners – were Caucasian but not 'white', because most common people did not consider them to be white[16].

Ironic in that 'the white race' that marginalized others for so long, somehow now, feel marginilized themselves - this is reflected in her need for to write about it.

A dillema because the 'white race' is still seen as racist and the word is continually being used to define their sentiments and actions even as those who fought racism are in a way practicing it themselves albeit reversely.

I honestly I don't know how you can respond.  It is tricky.  But I can understand why she had to address the issue.

The above is just my opinion.

The Almighty Allah says,

"When a servant thinks of Me, I am near.
When he invokes Me, I am with him.
If he reflects on Me in secret, I reply in secret,
And if he acknowledges Me in an assembly,
I acknowledge him in a far superior assembly."

Emails like these are often used to justify racism.

The reason why there is all that listed above for minorities is because they have been historically oppressed by white people, black slavery was real, the n word (cannot bring myself to write it) has terrible historical connitations, and is firmly linked with a hideous past.

White people have access to scholarships and funding (well they do in England) as much as the next person. And it is load of twaddle that white people have nothing to celebrate, milad un nabi, is as Christmas is I would guess, except we tend to pray on the day not over eat and give out gifts.

I'm going to ask some articulate ladies I know about this, ones who are not muslim.

brb comps about to restart.

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright. Surah 2  Verse 186
