Assalam Aleikum.
Does anyone know of a website or link where I could learn how to perform the salah and learn the necessary surahs. If I could download this to my MP3 shuffle it would be easier than trying to pray while watching a DVD as it is less obstrutive and i know the movements but what not to read at each position and get confused about whether I have completed a rakat. Also the reading necessary for wudhu and various surahs which need to be learnt by heart. I cannot read Arabic.
All suggestions welcome.
Many thanks and salaams.\

peace be upon you

Can you read Arabic?

Until such time as me or someone else finds the files you need, and you are able to learn the different phrases and surahs, you should say "Subhanallah, , wal Hamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahuAkbar" an odd number of times (at least three) at every position  in the Salah.

Salam Alaikum
You can go to and as they both have some really good flash presentations on how to perform salat with audio. When I was learning, I would just write down what to say on a piece of paper and hold it or lay it on my pryer rugl As for the mp3, I don't know of any downloads for salat but there are a ton of sites that have downloads for surah al fatihah and other short surahs. Good luck and may Allah make learning easy for you.
