Random Quote: "Do not speak much without mentioning Allah because you will harden your hearts. A hard heart is far from Allah, but you do not know. Do not look at the wrong actions of people as if you were lords. Look to your wrong actions as if you were slaves. Some people are afflicted by wrong action and some people are protected from it. Be merciful to the people of affliction and praise Allah for His protection." - Jesus (Peace be upon him)

As-salaamu 'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakaatuh.

I am trying to find the full text in english/transliterated arabic of a traditional khutbah/lecture introduction.

Typically to goes something like...

1 Praising Allah (swt)
2 Sending the salaat and salaam upon our Prophet Muhammad (saws), his brothers amongst the Prophets, his family members, his companions, the tabi’een and those who follow him until the Day of Judgment.
3 Warning about tawqa
4 Warning about dying a Muslim
4 Salaam to the students

Jazak'Allahu khairn.

as salaamu alaykum,

I believe you are referring to khutbatul haajah.  I just did a google search on it, and in this thread someone posted a pdf with it in English, Arabic, and transliteration: http://forums.almaghrib.org/showthread.php?t=4444
