As-salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

Over that last couple of years I've spent a lot of time writing poetry, reflective thoughts, short fiction and posted it on Jannah. I would like to take this time to sincerely thank everybody for their encouragement, support and where warranted criticism.

While I have enjoyed writing, I have decided to give up writing and to focus on being a student of our deen. I will continue to lurk about but will likely be posting significantly less.

I close with the noble words of the best book:

Help you one another in Birr and Taqwa; but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment. (Al-Ma'idah 5:2)

It is for Allah's sake that I love you all.

Jazak'Allahu khairn,

Brother when you're ready I'm sure many of us look forward to your posts again.
As you need time to be a student, I hope you won't keep us from being a 'student' (sort to speak)
from the wisdom you offer all your brothers and sisters in Islam.
Because when you share your poetry, reflective thoughts, etc, with us, we are blessed with the chance to learn also.
The post you did titled 'Words from a Struggler'
really help open my eyes and heart in many ways.
It really benefited me greatly and I am thankful for that post.
