Quira'atul Qura'an Competition 2009

The Qirat'ul Qur'an Competition 2009 is the 11th annual competition hosted by McMaster University's Muslim Students Association with the sole purpose of glorifying the Holy Qur'an. QQC 2009 will be held in Hamilton at McMaster University and promises multi-level competitions, over 50 competitors, a vibrant food and bazaar area, and hundreds in audience and volunteers.

The competition starts off at 12:30pm with sisters ONLY and continues to the brothers competition at 3pm. The top prize for the senior competition is $1500 (~$1220 USD) for the winning team's MSA. This means that each MSA could leave with a total of $3000 (~$2440 USD) , if both their sisters and brothers team win!

This year, there will be new and exciting changes introduced to the format of the event. Also we are hoping to incorporate an interactive Islamic-challenge segment, where each junior team is paired up with a senior brothers team. Alhamdulillah this event has been on going for 10 years with great success.
