As Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barkaatuh!

Hadith

The Prophet (sallallaho Aleihi wasallam) said:

"There is a gate
in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan,
and those who observe fasts will enter through it

on the Day of Resurrection
and none except them will enter through it."

Narrated
Sahl (Radi-Allah- Anhu):
The Prophet Muhammad (sal-Allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) said,

"There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan,

and those who observe fasts will enter through it
on the Day of
Resurrection
and none except them will enter through it.

It will be
said,
'Where are those who used to observe fasts?'
They will get up,

and none except them will enter through it.
After their entry the gate
will be closed
and nobody will enter through it."

[Sahih Bukhari : volume 3, Book 31, Number 120]

Benefit:

The meaning of Raiyan is satiation because
those who
fast bore the hunger & thirst for the sake of Allah;
for that holding them
in high esteem
they will be passed from this 'door of satiation'
and while
passing they will be given such a drink that
they will never feel the
thirst.

Narrated AbuHurayrah:
The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) used to say: "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from four things: Knowledge which does not profit, a heart which is not submissive, a soul which has an insatiable appetite, and a supplication which is not heard."
