Assalamu Alaikum!

Does anybody know any good sites that have clothing patterns for sewing? I have been thinking about trying out a new hobby of making my own clothes inshallah. If anybody knows some good sites, I would be so thankful for your help.

The only sites I've come across charge for the patterns.

Patterns are pretty cheap tho, have you tried your local haberdashers?

I'm in England are you in the States, do you guys not have haberdashers?

A haberdashery is where you can buy your sewing cotton, and material and buttons etc, all things sewing related are sold in a haberdashery.

OK I found some sites that do free patterns, I've personally not tried them out so experiment on a dolls size scale first before cutting into expensive material.

What kind of sewin patterns are you after, western style clothing, or abayas etc?

My mum taught us to make up our own patterns.

Yes, I'm in the States.
Ah, yes, we have those stores.
Thank you for the site. I will try this inshallah.
I would really like to make me a dress. I was getting ready for eid prayer the other day, and i realized that i have no dresses. So I would really love to learn to make an abaya.
Really? Is it hard to make up your own patterns?
