Hey guys, I am looking for a tafseer to help with understanding. I have come across Tafseer-e-Usmani is this a good tafseer??

I believe in Islam like the sun rising, not because I see it but because by it, I see everything else.

Tafseer ibn Kathir is very popular, I've not heard of the other one.

Wassalaam

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright. Surah 2  Verse 186

I'm a fan of tafsir ibn Kathir.

you can actually view the whole text online at http://www.tafsir.com/

I like to read up there when there is a particular ayat that catches my fancy.
