MAS Youth is glad to announce the Study Abroad Program (SAP) for 2008

Study with MAS Youth
Have you ever wanted to learn Arabic but never got the chance? Take
advantage of this opportunity to learn the language of the Quran with the
good company of fellow students who share the same goals and MAS Youth group
leaders to encourage success in not only your study of the language but also
in your spirituality and personal development! .

MAS Youth is pleased to offer the 2nd annual Study Abroad Program (SAP) for
the study of the Arabic language. The 2008 MAS Youth SAP is a 5-week long
course consisting of 150 hours of Arabic language study in partnership with
Al-Diwan Center in Cairo, Egypt.

MAS Youth Approach
Along with the 150 hours of quality instruction in Arabic at Al-Diwan
Center, students will experience many added benefits of traveling with MAS
Youth SAP. A well balanced comprehensive understanding and implementation of
Islam is part of MAS Youth's approach. This understanding is carried through
out their wide variety of projects and is no different with the SAP trip.
Attendees will not only reap the benefits of their classroom hours, they
will also benefit from the groups overall focus on brother/sisterhood,
spirituality and personal development. Qualified MAS Youth group leaders
will also accompany the students for the duration of the trip and have
contacts with the US consulate and MAS during their summer stay in case of
any problems/emergencies

Who is eligible?
Eligible applicants include Muslim men and women of at least 18 years of age
and above. No exceptions will be made for liability reasons. The SAP
Committee is looking for mature, dynamic men and women who maintain a
commitment and respect the traditional Islamic beliefs. Applicants must
display a level of maturity appropriate to appreciate the educational aspect
of the program.

Dates and Details
Departure: is scheduled for the last week of June 2008. Students will travel
to New York or DC (TBD soon) for one day SAP group orientation before
departure to Egypt. Class begins in Egypt: July 1, 2008

Return home: beginning of August, 2008

Additional costs not included: passport fees, visa cost, meals, bottles

Price
Package price per person:
During early registration Jan. 1 - Feb. 15, 2008 $2,600
Regular Registration Feb. 15 - April 15, 2008 $2,800
Late Registration April 15 - May 1, 2008 $3100
* In order to lock in your early, regular, or late registration price a
deposit is required during that phase of registration
* In order to guarantee a spot in the program, full payment must be received
by May 1st, 2008.
