he was making fun of Pakistan becasue he found a link saying that it was the top country that had the problem

Sweety, this problem is more than just Muslim, it effects both men and women of all races and religion. It is why my first marriage of 10 years ended. My Christian husband was addicted and it escalated to more serious things. It is a VERY painful thing for a family to experience and as a women, I can't tell you how it makes your self esteem feel.

Most men, non-muslim, (if in the west) Are used to a free for all with naked women, sex and desires. Most don't even see that they have a problem, wives will say "men are men". It is socially acceptable for married men to visit strip clubs and gazed a women and no one says anything, this just feeds the addiction.

I recommend anyone suffering with this addiction that their spouses and loved ones receive counselling too!

I believe in Islam like the sun rising, not because I see it but because by it, I see everything else.

the best solution is to become involved in some physical activity e.g. sports or hiking or helping mow the neighbour's lawn in addition to your regular job. you should then be too exhausted to think of anything else.
