as salaam o alekum.

could there be anything unislamic about using family planning devices such as Copper-T (which is intrautirine device)
and gives out copper ions to prevent pregnancy.
Is oral contraceptive better option islamically.

P.S:all this considering that one has to undertake family planning anyways

walaikum salam,

Before someone gives you a cut and paste fatwa here, I really suggest you contact your local Imam about the various opinions on birth control and methods. Much depends on your particular circumstances.
