These days manga (Japanese style) drawings are very popular, as you can see by looking at plenty of cartoons or graphic novels. They are especially popular with young people like me on sites like Deviantart. So I am very pleased and happy to direct you to a hugely talented Muslim manga artist called Nayzak : www.nayzak.deviantart.com

You MUST see his artwork, it is amazing, has been featured on the site with thousands of comments from non-Muslims and Muslims, spreading info about Islam, he is extremely polite and his comics and drawings are very thoughtful!

He also has an older account : www.fullwhitemoon.deviantart.com with other art. Which piece of artwork is your fave?

This may sound as though he himself is posting for popularity; however I'm just a young girl who thought that this would be a great site to show this sort of thing to Muslims. Thank you and salam.

salam,

Mashallah, those drawings are super kawaii!!! I have a thing for anime so it's really cool to see drawings featuring muslim characters.

Jannah, I never saw Emma but I know that was a very popular anime.  The manga artist won awards for it and it was very detailed and authentic to its period.  I hope to watch it all someday.  It wasn't your typical anime.

wsalam,

Interesting! I didn't know that. I just found it randomly on youtube one day when I was bored....then next thing I knew I watched like 204802398 episodes!! lol

I think what happened is some American company bought the rights to it, so it was removed from youtube because they are releasing the DVDs of it with English subtitles. The only one that's there is with Spanish subtitles on youtube??!
