As a reminder and a cause for reflection, kindly permit me to relate few words of Sidi Muhiyyiden Ibn Arabi from his KITAB al-ISFAR, while commenting on Man's endless journey that started long before birth, until well after death. The Shaykh writes,

'''How many journeys did you accomplish through the stages of creation before you became blood in your
father and mother! They came together for your sake, with or without the intention of seeing you manifested.
You were transported in the state of sperm and took the form of an attachment (clot), then a skin and then a bone.
These became knitted flesh and you received another constitution, and you were then expelled into this world and
passed into the state of infancy. From infancy you pass to childhood, from childhood to adolescence, from adolescence
to the flower of youth; from there to middle age, from middle age to old age and from old age to decrepitude, the most
degrading of ages. From there you pass to the intermediate world (BARZAKH) in which you travel to the Final Judgement.
Then you are made to travel on the Path, to either a paradise or a fire if you are one of their people; if you are not one of
them, you travel from the Fire to Paradise and from there to the Dune of the Divine Vision. You will never cease to come and
go between paradise and the Dune, forever''.   Allahu Akbar!! Wa Lillah-Hamd.
