Planned Itinerary

Saturday, May 21st - Malaga
Tour of Malaga, followed by dinner and a relaxing night at the hotel

Sunday, May 22nd - Malaga / Ronda / Cordoba
Breakfast in Malaga, and then we depart for Ronda. After a tour of the beautiful mountain city, we’ll continue on to Cordoba.

Monday, May 23rd - Cordoba
After a hotel breakfast, we’ll spend the day exploring the grand history of Cordoba.

Tuesday, May 24th - Cordoba / Seville
We’ll head for Seville after a breakfast at the hotel. We’ll spend the day on a guided tour of beautiful Seville.

Wednesday, May 25th - Seville / Granada
After a hotel breakfast in Seville, we’ll head for Granada, and get a tour of the last Emirate of Muslim Spain. We’ll learn about how Islam’s power in the West faded, and how Spain’s Muslim history was crucial to the discovery of the New World.

Thursday, May 26th - Granada
We’ll spend another day in Granada, taking in the city’s heritage, including the incomparable Alhambra.

Friday, May 27th – Granada / Sierra Nevada / Granada
We’ll leave Granada for a day trip to the stunning Sierra Nevada mountains, where the last Muslim resistance to the Reconquista found refuge. Then we’ll head back to Granada for a final night in this magical city.

Saturday, May 28th - Granada / Malaga
We’ll head breakfast and then head back to Malaga.

Sunday, May 29th - Malaga / Madrid
We’ll learn about why May 29th is so special in Muslim history. We’ll say our say Salam to Spain and head home.
