Hey ladies - just wanted to share this, as it features one of my most favorite and dearest online sisters (other than Sis J and a few of you others as well (this is where you say "Awwwwwww"  Tongue)

http://mwiarts.wordpress.com/artists/

Here is what that certain Muslimah I refer to above had to say about it on her sites:

http://www.zaufishan.co.uk/2011/03/muslim-women-in-arts-me.html

http://www.muslimness.com/2011/03/muslimness-interviews-muslim-women-in.html

http://www.muslimness.com/2011/03/muslim-women-in-arts-interview-with.html

And it's going to be covered by Al Jazeera as well.

Here is a video that was uploaded as a preview:

Jazakallah for that. This is useful for me, as I'm an artist----> although I've not put my art into practice in the last few years. Just everyday life got in the way. Insh'Allah I hope to soon though.

Some interesting people and work!

وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰ

And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased.

Salaaams, glad you girls like it!

One of my favorite projects or artwork that Sr. Zaufishan has going is her collection of comics based on personal experiences. In a recent radio interview that she did, she said she is planning on getting them published - I would definetly pay the asking price - they are just too funny and I think they would make a great gift (in my case, to 3 sisters I know back home). To get a taste, check this out from her blog: http://www.zaufishan.co.uk/search/label/my%20sketches
