Perhaps we may not have many golfing fans in the Madina, but sad to hear of the demise of Seve Ballesteros today after a long term battle against cancer.
He was without doubt one of the greats of the modern golf and was very much a pioneer in how the game was played.
His trademark of driving wildly but then playing miraculous recovery shots is something which will always stick in my memory.
No matter how far we may stray from hitting that ball down the middle, there's always an opportunity to bring it back and importantly Seve would never despair at how bad a shot he had hit (he memorably hit it into a car park once!!)
Therein is a lesson for us all.http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/mobile/golf/13311206.stm
