Wassalaam

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright. Surah 2  Verse 186

I really don't like the idea of Muslims keeping dogs and celebrating dogs in that way.
Yes, we are allowed to hunt with dogs and guard with dogs. But the people who keep them, really need to look in to their hearts and ask them selves. Is their reason for keeping the dog, for Hunting, Guarding or as a pet?
Are they using hunting and guarding as an excuse, to keep a pet?
Allah hu Alim, but the women in the photo need to be told how to wear Hijab properly in Islam!

Wa Alaikum Salam Siter Fozia,

Yes we have a festival on July's second week of every year in Turkey,so many kennell groups do exhibit their dogs in an show inviting international dog lovers,i especially like this one in Kangal,Sivas by the cause this original dogs carrying out more than 2000 years past.

For my opinion kangal is more than bcs he has the history shared with us that we appreciate their efforts so much.

Take care...
