Assalamu Alaykum,

I have a question, more just out of curiosity [to be honest, my husband is a non-muslim so it doesn't really apply to him yet although he keeps a scrubby beard though not terribly long oldshaykh . NOTE: He is not a muslim yet  Wink ]

Anyway, is it acceptable for a muslim man to keep a beard but to trim it occasionally?  Mashallah, I love all things sunnah, the hijab,  purplehijabisis niqab  niqabisis however a scraggly beard...inshallah will grow on me  Smiley Basically, was just wondering if trimming from time to time is haraam...

I do respect those who regardless of personal opinions on an issue follow sunnah and what Allah has decreed. Jazaka Allahu Khairan
