How do you explain:
bi abi anta wa ommi ya rasool Allah

All the words are simple and I know their meaning, but what does that whole sentence actually mean?

salaam,

I believe it means something like 'May my mother and father be sacrificed for you ya Rasulullah saw' -- an expression used by some of the sahaba showing the love and devotion they had for him saw even above their own family.

Allahu a'lam.

salaam Smiley
