Most of us in most of the times in most of the cases Appreciate Good and Right. Yet we DON’T Recognize the creator, promoter of all the Good and Right things. Rather we surround ourselves with the sources, creators of Bad and Wrong things.
In a WORLD full of Right and Wrong, Good and Bad Things we see Bad and Wrong things more often than we see Right and Good things in our surroundings. The numbers of Bad and Wrong things are increasing day by day. Even in some cases, the meaning, definition of Right and Good are being distorted, changed, such as making money with unjust, unlawful, unfair practice, lie, cheat is perceived as a smart act, rather than a dishonest act.
All the GOOD things in the world you can name, imagine, think, say, such as Justice, Reason, Facts, Right, Fair, True, Honesty, Integrity, Passionate, Love, Peace, Patience, Contribute, Transparency, Straightforwardness, Perseverance, Hard Work, Good Healthy Foods, Helping Others, Knowledge, Development of Good System, Mercy, Forgiveness are the teachings, principles, concepts, ideas taught by Allah Subhanuwatala in the revelations from Allah. You will not find any faulty teaching, prescription, suggestion from Allah. Not even in the lives of 125,000 Messengers of Allah, as detailed in Islam. Same as Allah’s creations mentioned in Chapter Sura Mulk of Holy Quran….’Your eyes will get tired of searching, but you will not find any fault in Allah’s creations’.
MOST of us would like to see the victory of Truth, Justice, victory of Reason, Love, Honesty, victory of the Righteousness in Most circumstances. We feel happy, content and joyous when we see victory of Right, Justice, Good over the Injustice, Bad and Wrong (doing) in different spheres of life.
Yet Allah as the Creator of all the Good and Right things, as the Promoter, Implementer of all the Right and Good things are ignored rather than becoming a source of our inspiration, thankfulness. He could have a mixture of both Right and Wrong, Good and Bad, representing the circumstance we see in our society. But He is not. That alone should be a great news, inspiration for us that to say in another way, any Good and Right will take us closer to the source of all power, respect, and eventually make us/ nation more successful, and durable.
All the BAD things in the WORLD you can name, imagine, think, say, such as Lie, Cheat, Junk Foods, Destruction, Manipulation, Violence, Hatred, Horror, Deceive, Cruelty, Apathy, Intolerance, Hide, Breaking Laws, Hypocrisy, Conspiracy, Conflict, Ignorance are from some Corrupt Minds of human beings. Such as Bank robbers have to think, plan in their mind to commit a bank robbery. Allah or messengers of Allah has never taught us how to commit a bank robbery.
Yet MOST of us ignore Allah, His teachings, His Messengers, their religious practices. We ignore the searching for the truth about religion all together, let alone practicing any Religion. Rather we turned to Media, Movies, Entertainment and look for the clue of our life. We turned to People with money, power, education, even though the Greatest Messenger of Allah Mohammad (Sallelahu Alihiwasallaam) replied to Angel Gabriel in response to ‘Read’, ‘ I cannot read’. We turned to developed people, country to get the flavor of ego, get branded, even though they don’t have any solution.
We know most of the above wrong and bad things are done sometimes deliberately and sometimes due to habit, circumstances, or for some instinct reason, such as smoking, lying, breaking laws. However, it is more important how we respond to the bad and wrongs, than committing the bad and wrongs by oneself. A minority group of people stand in support of the wrongs and bad things. They argue and come up with all sorts of reasons, they look for excuses. Some people stand against the wrong and bad, they agree, acknowledge when something is wrong or bad, they repent, they prevent.
But unfortunately the wrong/bad of NOT Recognizing the Creator, Promoter and Implementer of all the Good and Right things/ Practicing religion is not due to habit, or for some instinct reason, rather it is a deliberate decision by vast majority of people from all religions. This is because People don’t want to practice any restrictions or because of conflicts, confusions among different religions and religious people, negative image of religions as portrayed by media and by different vested interest groups or just to ignore the matter all together and walk away from the truth and/ or due to otherwise too busy to enjoy the world created by the same Creator who created all the Good and Right things.
Vast majority of people from all religions are deliberately directly or indirectly becoming supporters, promoters of wrongs, bad things, becoming ungrateful, trend of hiding, ignoring good and right are increasing day by day. In the standard of religion this majority group of people are becoming unbeliever, one of the Greatest Sin a human can commit. Destined their future, the life of hereafter to eternal hell fire.
No matter how educated/ uneducated you are, how rich/ poor you are, how successful/ unsuccessful you are, how busy/ lazy you are, find out the time, do some research, go to scholars, study and find the truth, believe it, practice it, promote it. Take the initiative. No more ignoring, hiding, delaying and/ or procrastination.
As per Cambridge English dictionary the literal meaning of TRUTH is Conformity to knowledge, fact and logic.
FACTS BEHIND THE RELIGION, the TRUTH:
FIRST: Our life is full (100%) of perfection and enjoyment. We are getting the sun light, breathing air, drinking water, eating meat, fish, fruits, vegetables everyday, every moment. Everything and the human life are in such an integrated, orderly & proportionate fashion and in need and in use of mankind which alone is sufficient enough to testify the creator and his power. PERFECTION IS NOT AN ACCIDENT. All these natural and co-related happenings towards the fulfillment of human needs is not an accident. We or our forefathers have never claimed to be the creator of this perfect world. The best we can claim is we are the care taker of some of the items (fish, chicken, fruits, vegetables, etc.), but not the sun, day-night, oxygen in the air, the whole universe.
SECOND: If we look at all those creations, we see everything is completely miracle. The Sun, a diameter of about 1,392,684 km, temperature of approximately 5778 K, hanging in the open sky, maintaining certain distance, is very routinely giving us ......"the day for work and the night for rest.".....Holy Quran
THIRD, but not the last fact is, how those creations were created? how they are working? the Sun, the air, the water, and the lives on the earth is completely and clearly beyond the reach of human perception "(gaib)"........a must element of faith in Islam.
REASONS BEHIND THE TRUTH:
FIRST: Since we or our forefathers didn't create any of those perfect creations, proves the existence of the CREATOR, beyond our thinking capacity, perception (the gaib), unseen to us. Same as with other most powerful elements (air, oxygen) of life which we also don’t see but feel, understand and believe them. In any office most often we don’t see the top most person but we see the care taker every time we walk by, that does not mean that the care taker is the all in all and we don’t need to believe or follow the order of the owner, the top authority.
SECOND: Based on the facts that those things are miracles and beyond the reach of human perception, we believe that the miracles of hereafter are also true. To believe in Allah (limitless He is in His glory) is to believe in what lies beyond the reach of human perception. It is not possible for human beings to comprehend the nature of Allah. When they believe in Him, they recognize the results of His actions but they cannot conceive His nature or how He works. Similarly, the life to come is something that lies beyond the reach of human perception (GAIB). Everything that relates to the day of judgment, the reckoning, the reward and the punishment all belong to the world beyond. we believe in that because Allah has told us about them.
And all we have seen teaches us to trust ALLAH for all we have not seen (circumstantial evidence). In major issues of life, such as education, career, finance, health, business, relationship we take decisions based on ideas, concept, evidences which are also circumstantial. Such as if I take this course I will get a job, if I take this medicine, I will be cured, if I marry him/ her I will be happy. We don’t see any conclusive evidence but still we go ahead take the course, take the action. But in religion many of us we expect to see evidence on everything in our naked/ bare eyes.
HABITUATED: Because of habit, many right things appear to us as wrong and many wrong things appear to us as right. When we are in a forest we don't see the forest for a tree. Starting from our childhood we see the nature, the creations of Allah so much so that the creation of Allah becomes very insignificant and casual to us. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. Also we are so much excited with the materialistic development and materialistic thinking, as oppose to our predecessors much more natural life, so that the Sun and other creations are not the source of our thought and spirit (as miracles), rather "Star Wars", etc. are miracles to us.
The Myth and Reality about Religion:
1) MYTH # 1 : The modern day advancement of science and technology has made the religion unnecessary and irrelevant.
REALITY: Religion, specifically Islam is about distinguishing between the truth and falsehood, right and wrong, about the right and obligation. There is no or very little effects on religion due to science and technology. No matter whether a person talk with his/ her spouse on a smart phone or talk directly, telling the truth, not falsifying shall still be very much applicable. No matter whether you go to office walking or by Ferari FX10, the fact whether you work with integrity, honesty in the office shall still be very much applicable. No matter whether you watch, download from U tube or you attend a live program, the need of not involving in illicit matters shall still be applicable. Whether you work as a departmental head or you are a labor does not make any difference if you lie, cheat, manipulate, conspire, do unethical, illegal, dishonest things in your day to day activities.
2) MYTH # 2 : I have a successful career, I am an educated, qualified successful professional, businessman, professor, entrepreneur. I already know everything about life. I can teach others on all issues of life. Why I need to listen to some Mulla to practice Religion.
REALITY: Religion has nothing to do with a person’s qualification, education, certification, success, etc. Allah has set that principle at the very first day of the dawn of Islam. Prophet Muhammad (SM) was not educated, qualified at all, yet he has led the greatest truth ,greatest solution to all the problems of mankind for all the times. Allah could have chosen a messenger with high education of that time to sent His final revelation. But history witnesses Prophet Muhammad (SM) was least educated, He was the smartest person in appearance as well as in thought, He was the person with highest integrity, righteousness of that time, of all times, but not a so called educated, certified person.
Successful people become successful by putting their efforts, time, money into a subject, therefore naturally they didn’t have enough time to learn and practice religion perfectly. They even need more help from scholars to practice religion. Religion is easy to understand and practice but you need to be in that environment, surrounding yourself with religion scholar, religion practicing peoples.
3) MYTH # 3: Religion is for old people, who has been kicked out of this world
REALITY: Religion is even more applicable, its need and necessity is more in the early ages, young ages than in the retired ages. Like any other trade, skill you need to get used to, be habituated, feel comfortable with religious practices starting from early ages. We may not live enough years to know why we were created, what are the major purposes of our life, fulfill the requirements of our obligation as a creature of Allah. Old age complicacy prevents us to do many religious practices.
4) MYTH # 4 : Religion is based on some assumption, guess, and not based on any facts, reason.
REALITY: Religion is based on many greatest facts seen by everybody in bare eyes every day and are based on greatest reasons of the world. There is no room for any assumption, guess, if, but, may be, etc. in Islam, unless you don’t know the facts and reasons, logic, as detailed above.
5) MYTH # 5: Religion is for poor people. Rich people already have blessings, so they do not need religion – arrogant, ignorant attitude.
REALITY: Religion is even more applicable for rich people to be able to answer all the question of his/ her earning sources, spending and fulfilling the obligation as a rich person.
6) MYTH # 6: I am too busy to survive, to make my livelihood. I don’t have time to practice Religion- procrastination attitude.
REALITY: Religion doesn’t take time to understand and practice it. It requires open heart, honesty, integrity to accept the truth. Its practice saves peoples’ precious time by avoiding unnecessary talk, acts, wastage of time, money, efforts on unnecessary things.
