The dunya by its literal meaning means something that cant be grasp
Then why do we chase it? why do we fail to understand?
We will leave it all for that black hole in the ground, and with nothing we will lay but the deeds we have sent forth untill judgment day
In sight of allah the dunyas worth is the likes of the wing of a fly,,
Think.. If it means that little to the creator, why should it mean
this much to us human beings?
Materialism and the dunyas possessions has become the new religion not only to the disbelievers, it has shackled us also as mu'mins
And by materialism and attachment to the dunya i dont just mean money, clothes or the latest shoes
Be careful People are also part of the deception too.
Allah says "your wives, wealth and children are a test for you"
So i guess in the end, We have no reason to chase the world
there is nothing here for us, because jannah is our abode
gardens beneath which rivers flow, purified souls and treasure troves
Jannah is calling your name so wake up and come home!

"Verily, We have made this quran easy for remembrence." Surah 17

"My dua is a witness to my poverty...so save me with a gentleness, O Lord of Lords." - Imam Al Haddad
