Assalamo Ailkum.

Please could you make Duah for my sons health...

He has recently lost the hearing in one ear and will soon be issued with a hearing aid..He seems able to cope with this but his bigest problem is he has been left with Tinnitus(constant ringing, buzzing or screeching in his ear and at times all three)..

The doctors say there is no medical treatment for this except for him to try sound masking devices....

He is grown up and does not live at home any longer, but on his last visit he looked very tired and depressed as he said the noise was driving him crazy....
He is an architect  and his work is very stressful ( I do not want to give his name here, in case anyone recognises him)
Please make duah for him....if Allah wills this Tinnitus will stop.

I thank you all.
Salaams.

Walaikum salam wa rahmatallah.

Honorable sister,

May Allah make it easy for you and your son, and give you both goodness and protection in this world and the next.

The following is a dua' the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessing be upon him, used to say when visiting someone who was feeling sick:

(Asallu Allah al-'Adheem Rabbal 'Arsh al-'Adheem An-Yashfeeaka)

"I ask Allah Most Mighty, Lord of the Mighty Throne, to Grant you Healing."

The Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessing be upon him, further added:
"If one says this to (the sick person) seven times, then he will be cured, unless his time of death has come."

I ask Allah Almighty to grant healing to the all the sick of our Ummah.  Ameen.

And Allah knows best.

Be merciful to those on earth, and the One in the Heavens will be merciful to you.
