Assalamu alaikum!

So I've been scrolling through some Islamic videos online, started worrying, decided that I needed a reality check and where better to get one than at the beloved Madina.  Smiley

Is it considered inappropriate Islamically to have photos of you and your friends on your (completely private) Facebook profile? I never upload photos of myself for people to 'like', but I do have a lot of photos that I'm tagged in that you can see.

I've never even considered this as a problem before, because all the photos are perfectly decent (no duck faces here) and seen by both my parents - but as I said, watching some videos online has made me freak out a little bit because it's true that my profile is viewable by the male schoolmates that I've added.

Legitimate worry or just me over-analyzing everything as usual?
peace

if u don't wear Niqab and your male school mates see your face usually then looking at your pics does not have to be a big deal. And in any case you don't put them up, others tag u so u can't do anything about it. So acc to me this is not something to worry over sis Smiley

TRhe main worry for me about fb pictures is the issue of copyright, that worries me, I need to do a fb photo cull.

And when My servants question thee concerning Me, then surely I am nigh. I answer the prayer of the suppliant when he crieth unto Me. So let them hear My call and let them trust in Me, in order that they may be led aright. Surah 2  Verse 186
