Salams,

Went to Kashmir (AJK) with my family in June this year.

We visited Keran, Shardah, Kel, Arang Kel and Taobutt, right till the meadows Smiley

Some pics...

Wowwww you have three kids now!!! So amazing! And we knew you from when you were just a single. mashaAllah.

Kashmir looks so amazingly beautiful. It is so tragic that in our age we only know it as a place of war Sad

A Persian poet of the Moghul age sang about Kashmir the following couplet:
If there could be a paradise on earth
It is this, it is this, and it is this.

MashaAllah, it has been a while, remember when Ayesha was a baby!!!

I just met someone from kashmir the other day, and have always wanted to visit, because it seems like the most amazing place, mashaAllah!  Thanks for sharing the pics...the landscape is breathtaking, and the people are equally beautiful mashaAllah.

Salams,

Thanks for liking the pics sis J, Shahida and tq. This is the Pakistani side of Kashmir known as AJK (Azad Jammu Kashmir); this side is quite peaceful and accessible.

The first two pics are from a valley called Arang Kel, we reached there after 2 hours of hiking. Kids and wifey were riding horses while I had to go by foot since the 3rd horse decided to run away!

There's this one pic of the remains of ancient Shardah university. The place was known to be the hub of learning ages ago.

Overall a great journey, but very tiring.

Ma'sha'allah such stunning scenery! Yes, Kashmir was/is a jannah of sorts...I too wish to go. Yeah, sadly like Sis J said, our gen knows it mostly as a worn-torn region.

Yes, kids are so so adorable ma'sha'allah.

Thanks so much for sharing these personal photos bhai.
