In trying to find the Arabic meaning of the name Halima (I know the origin of the name), I googled it.  What came on the internet is amazing!  From the origin of the name as baby name, to historical figures (ladies) and events in history to modern day Halima's here is what I found.  Really amazing!, Origin and baby names with variables in the way the name is spelt across the world., the prophet Mohammad's (SAW) foster-mother, 6th century princess of the Ghassan kingdom, (a pseudonym of Balthamel), fictional character in Robert Jordan's The Wheel of Time series, professional oriëntal dancer, teacher, performer, proud official member of the CID-UNESCO., Oriëntaalse Dansschool,, Cassell was born in 1975 in Pakistan, brought up in Manchester and now living in Blackburn, Lancashire, Halima’s varied, multi-cultural background is ...

Now this leaves me, the ordinary Halima among many other ordinary Halimas and certainly not Halima the belly dancer or of the dance school.  Phew!
