Asalamualaikum wrt wb,

All praise be to Allah.   As brother Ehsan has pointed out in the past, the best way to deal with negative portrayals of Islam is by isolating them and keeping them out of our Inboxes and Message Boards.  By posting these distortions of Islam, we are simply giving them free adverstising and propagating their message.

Although well intentioned, many of our Muslims brothers and sisters become the best advertisers for anti-Islamic messages by reposting and propogating their falsehoods to their friends and family.  As the Messenger of Allah said: "It is sufficient lying for a person to repeat whatever he hears."

May Allah give us the wisdom to follow the words of guidance and follow the best of it.

And Allah knows best.

Be merciful to those on earth, and the One in the Heavens will be merciful to you.
