About me...

To give you a lil background about myself I graduated in Psych/Computer Science. I have an MA in Educational Technology. I started this website while in school. Right now i work full time, which i wish was part-time or at least in an islamic org or school, but inshaAllah one day. I am a student of the deen and try to be active in increasing my iman and helping out the local community with Islamic events. I am alas still single so if anyone knows anyone good please let me know. I'm looking for someone who is a good muslim (or striving to be one), has a sense of humor, is educated, loves kids and is looking for a 'devoted to the deen yet non-traditional ' companion for the Journey. :)

One of my favorite verses in the Quran is where it says 'wa uzlifatil jannatu lil muttaqeena ghayra ba'eed' 'and the Garden will be brought near to the righteous, no more a thing distant' because I think of how amazing it will be for those who struggled their whole life to finally have Jannah brought near to them.

Hence this is where the name for this website comes from.

I have a very difficult time responding to all emails, so I'd suggest using the anonymous posting at the Madina Message Board on this site, where there are hundreds of people who can possibly answer you.
